Drink up! Water is life.

Did you know your body is made up of 70% water? Also consider this: the earth is 70% water. Do you think that is merely coincidence? I do not. As a nurse, I have seen the effects dehydration can have on the body firsthand – and let me tell you…it’s not pretty. As I have stated before, we all come from the same source. Our body is so important to fulfilling our purpose here on planet earth and one very good way to keep it healthy is by staying hydrated. Science has shown a significant decrease in mental acuity (alertness or sharpness) when levels of dehydration were present. Water is the source of all life. It has natural healing abilities and water remembers (more on this later). The recommendation today is to drink half of your body weight in ounces each day. I weigh 130lbs so I consume 65oz of water each day (minimum). If you do one good thing for your body today, let it be this: drink a bottle of water!
